Staying in Control While You Play at Xon Bet

Gambling should stay a form of entertainment that you pay for, not a way to earn money or recover losses. This page lists the warning signs to watch for, the tools Xon Bet provides to control spending and time, and the places where independent help is available. It is an information page and not a casino advertisement.

Signs that gambling is becoming a problem

Pay attention if any of these sound familiar:

  • You spend more money or more time than you planned.
  • You chase losses by raising stakes or returning to win back what you lost.
  • You borrow money, or use money meant for bills, to gamble.
  • You hide your gambling from family or friends, or feel irritable when you try to stop.
  • Gambling is the first thing you think about when you feel stressed or low.

Do not chase losses and do not borrow money to gamble. If several of these signs fit, use the tools below and speak to someone you trust.

Decide the deposit before you accept an offer: a €100 example

Take a €100 first deposit with the 150% match. The bonus is €150, and the turnover on it is 45 x €150 = €6,750 before bonus funds or associated winnings can be withdrawn. A target of that size can lead to more play than you intended, so decide the deposit first and the offer second, and set a deposit limit before you accept the bonus. A deposit limit is daily, weekly or monthly and takes effect immediately.

Limits you can set at Xon Bet

Xon Bet describes five tools for casino players. Gambling limits are available to casino players.

ToolWhat it doesPeriods and timing
Deposit limitYou cannot deposit more than the amount you setDaily, weekly or monthly; effective immediately
Loss limitYou cannot lose more than the amount you setDaily, weekly or monthly; effective immediately
Session limitThe countdown starts at login and a reminder appears when the time is upCountdown from login
Wager limitCaps the amount you stake over a chosen periodEffective immediately
Cool-offBlocks deposits and real-money playThe account is not reactivated automatically, so returning takes a deliberate step

A limit takes effect at once, but loosening it is slower. Removing a restriction or lowering a limit takes at least 24 hours from the moment you request it. The delay helps, because it gives you time to reconsider a decision made in the heat of a session.

How offers sit alongside your limits

Offers come with their own conditions. Wagering on a welcome bonus is counted on the bonus amount, free spins expire within 7 days if they are not played, and each deposit must be wagered twice before a fee-free withdrawal, so a €200 deposit means €400 in bets. Weekly cashback is 5% of the money spent in the previous week and needs a total above €500, which makes it a reason to look at your weekly spend rather than to raise it. If an offer pushes you past what you planned, a loss limit or a deposit limit is the quickest way to cap it.

Self-exclusion: how it works and what to do first

Self-exclusion is the strongest tool. The period ranges from 24 hours to 2 months. For a longer or permanent exclusion, contact the casino’s Customer Care.
Check these details before you start:

  • Request any cashout before you set the self-exclusion. The casino asks players to do this first.
  • Once it runs, you cannot remove the restriction before the period ends, and you cannot edit the period.
  • You can set it while logged in or by contacting the customer care team, and you can extend it on request for one or more further periods.
  • The facility blocks promotional and marketing material, and you can no longer log in to your account.

The casino itself calls the tool not foolproof and recommends that you self-exclude with any other operator you use as well. Self-exclusion at one casino does not stop you from playing elsewhere, so if you gamble at several sites, repeat the step at each of them.

Gambling and minors

Xon Bet allows only players over 18, or above the higher age of majority where they live. Keep devices and payment cards out of the reach of children, and never let a child use your account. The Terms ask players to keep login details secret and prohibit transferring funds between players, so an account is never a shared tool. On devices that children can reach, use parental-control software to limit what they can open.

Where to get independent support

You do not have to face this alone. Your country’s national gambling helpline or health service can help, and many offer free and confidential advice. Organisations named by the casino include GamCare, Gambling Therapy and Gamblers Anonymous. Support organisations help relatives as well as players, so a family member who worries about someone close can use them too, and speaking to that person calmly and without blame is a better start than an argument.
If you are in immediate distress or think you may harm yourself, contact your local emergency services.
