How We Handle Reader Data on Our Xon Bet Site
Effective date: 15 October 2026
This notice explains how the independent Xon Bet information site handles personal data. It covers visitors who read our pages and people who write to our editorial address. It does not cover the casino itself, which runs its own accounts and has its own privacy notice.
Who is responsible for your data
The editorial team behind this site decides why and how data from site visitors is handled, and acts as the controller for the data described below. We are an information publisher. We do not operate Xon Bet, we do not open player accounts, and we do not process gambling transactions.
If you register at the casino, the casino collects your data under its own terms and is responsible for it. Our notice and the casino’s notice are separate documents, and one does not replace the other.
What data we handle
We handle very little data: the site has no registration, no player accounts and no payment features.
- Messages you send. If you write to our editorial address, we receive your e-mail address, the name you choose to give and the content of your message.
- Technical visit data. Like most websites, the servers that deliver our pages can record standard technical details of a visit, such as the page requested, the time of the request and basic device and browser information.
- Cookie data. Cookies and similar technologies are described in a separate section below.
We do not ask for identity documents, card numbers, bank details or gambling history, and you should never send them to us. If you do so by mistake, tell us and we will delete the message.
Why we use data
We use data for these purposes only:
- Answering your message and handling a correction or privacy request, which needs your e-mail address to reply.
- Keeping the site working, secure and readable on different devices.
- Understanding in general terms which pages readers use, so that we can improve topics that are hard to follow.
- Meeting legal obligations that apply to a publisher.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not build profiles of individual readers to decide which bonus or casino message you see.
Legal basis
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on the following:
- Legitimate interests, for running a secure website and improving it, balanced against your interests and rights.
- Steps at your request, when you write to us and expect a reply.
- Legal obligation, where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.
- Consent, where a cookie or a similar technology needs it. You can withdraw consent at any time, and withdrawal does not affect handling that happened before it.
Cookies
The site may use cookies that are needed to deliver pages and remember simple choices, and, where you agree, cookies that help us see how pages are used. You can delete cookies or block them in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies can change how a page displays, but reading the site does not depend on them.
When you follow a link to the casino, you leave this site. The casino may set its own cookies, which are covered by its notice and not by this one.
Who receives data
We share data only where needed:
- Service providers that host the site, deliver e-mail or help with technical operation, acting on our instructions.
- Authorities, courts or professional advisers, where the law requires it or where we need to establish or defend a legal claim.
- A successor, if the site is passed to another publisher, in which case the same duties follow the data.
Links out to Xon Bet and to support organisations are plain links. We do not pass your messages or your visit details to the casino.
Keeping data and international transfers
We keep e-mail correspondence for as long as it is needed to answer you and to document corrections and requests, and then delete it. Technical visit data is kept for a limited time that suits security and maintenance needs. Data that we must keep because of a legal duty stays until that duty ends.
Our providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where that happens, we use safeguards recognised by the data protection law that applies, such as standard contractual clauses.
Security
We limit access to editorial correspondence to the people who need it, and we ask our providers to protect the data they handle. No method of sending or storing data is completely safe, which is one more reason not to e-mail sensitive documents to us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask whether we hold data about you and receive a copy;
- have wrong data corrected;
- ask for deletion when the data is no longer needed;
- ask us to limit how we use data or to object to certain uses;
- receive your data in a portable format where the law provides for it;
- withdraw consent you have given;
- complain to the data protection authority in your country.
To use a right, e-mail us and say what you want. We may ask you to confirm that the request really comes from the owner of the e-mail address, so that data does not reach someone else.
Players of Xon Bet and your casino data
Data you give the casino is a separate matter. Xon Bet’s own policies state that registration requires true and correct details, including a valid e-mail address, and that payouts can require identity and address documents. We never see those documents and cannot help with an account or verification request. Raise those questions with the casino’s customer support.
Minors
This site is for adults. Gambling at Xon Bet requires players to be over 18, or the higher age of majority where they live. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has written to us, tell us and we will delete the message.
Changes to this notice
We update this notice when our handling of data changes or when the law requires it. The effective date at the top shows the current version. Where a change is significant, we will say so on this page.
Where to send privacy requests and complaints
For privacy questions and requests, write to [email protected]. Please include the page or message you are asking about, so we can find the data quickly.
